Apprenticeships in the environmental and land-based sector

CFE has been commissioned by the Sector Skills Council - Lantra to undertake research 'Assessing the Suitability of Apprenticeships in the UK Environmental and Land-based Sector'.

The research will cover England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and will consist of a combination of qualitative and quantitative research techniques.

The research will involve:

  • desk research
  • consultations with the steering group and key stakeholders
  • a survey of 1000 employers
  • provider focus groups
  • learner depth interviews.

A report and presentation will be provided to Lantra at the beginning of 2010.
