CFE was commissioned by Linking London Lifelong Learning Network (LLLLN), to conduct a series of depth telephone interviews with employers who had taken part in the ‘Demand for higher level skills survey’ in November last year. 

The depth interviews explored:

• Type of training undertaken by employers
• How employers choose a provider
• Employer engagement with providers

The information gathered will be used to help providers identify possible initiatives they could use to encourage employers to undertake higher level skills training and to consider their institution as a key provider of this training.
