The University of Wolverhampton has commissioned CFE to evaluation is SPEEDWM project (Speed Placement for Entrepreneurs in Education). The project is an integrated entrepreneurship and business creation programme via the West Midlands' Higher Education Institutions.
The evaluation will examine the relevance, consistency, effectiveness and efficiency of the SPEEDWM programme and report by March 2012.
The role of the evaluation is to provide evidence of the extent to which SPEEDWM has achieved its objectives, assessed against ERDF KPIs, as well as a deeper understanding of the wider outcomes and impacts of the programme for the region, the delivery institutions and the beneficiaries. Our approach will examine ‘what’s worked and why’ in relation to the design and delivery of the programme with a view to identifying good and interesting practice. Key lessons and areas for improvement will also be identified along with recommendations for measuring success in future.
