South London Lifelong Learning Network
Evaluation

In October 2008 CFE was commissioned to undertake an evaluation of the South London Lifelong Learning Network (SL LLN). Established in November 2006, membership consists of 13 higher education institutions, 10 further education colleges plus 20 other sub regional stakeholders. It is now approaching its third year of operation and CFE have been tasked with evaluating the performance to date as well as exploring issues of sustainability.

The latter objective is particularly important, not just for SL LLN, but for all LLNs as they approach the end of their funding by the Higher Education Funding Council for England.

CFE will seek views and opinions from SL LLN stakeholders on what activities will be most valuable to continue with and how these should be continued.

The findings were presented to the Steering Board of the Network early in 2009.
