Tamworth Borough Council and Lichfield District Council
CFE is currently supporting Tamworth Borough Council and Lichfield District Council to coordinate its business engagement activity across the two local authority areas.
Both local authorities recognise the importance of effectively engaging the private sector to deliver better local outcomes for businesses and residents.
The project involves:
- a desk-based review of data sets and strategies identifying existing business engagement activity and best practice
- an online survey of businesses in the two areas
- follow up interviews with a sample of stakeholders
- consultation with LSP partners
- The development of a business engagement strategy
- The development of an action plan outlining quick wins, short, medium and long-term actions
- An impact assessment
