In January 2008 CFE was commissioned to undertake an initial evaluation of the operations and management of the West London Lifelong Learning Network (WL LLN) a partnership between five Higher Education Institutions, seven FE colleges and two Sixth Form colleges in West London.
The research has now been completed and included consulting with members of the core LLN team, the Network Board and partner institutions. The report was presented to the West London LLN team and Network Board, with recommendations and examples of good practice.
The report found that the West London LLN has made an excellent start in contributing to its objectives of increasing the progression of vocational learners into and through higher education and facilitating collaboration between its partner HE and FE institutions.
